- Double Up Blackjack introduces additional betting mechanics like the Double Up wager after receiving initial cards and a Bonus 16 side bet with payouts up to 100x.
- The variant operates with six decks at 98.03% RTP and includes unique rules where dealer hands totaling 16 push all bets except player blackjacks.
LAS VEGAS – BetOnline recently introduced its Double Up Blackjack game, which adds new betting options and a side bet to the classic blackjack format. The variant uses six standard decks and offers a 98.03% return-to-player percentage.
When To Double Up
The main innovation to the conventional blackjack rules is the Double Up wager. Players can deposit an additional stake equal to their initial wager in a designated Double Up circle once they have received their first two cards.
Without getting a new card, this raises the stake.
Players can still invest up to their initial stake amount and get one more card before standing if they use the Double Down bet. Unlike previous versions, this version offers legal online blackjack with different betting techniques.
When the dealer strikes exactly 16, the Bonus 16 side bet pays out. The number of cards required to reach there determines the payment. The payout from two cards is three times your wager. It increases to 5x after three cards, 10x after four, 50x after five, and 100x if the dealer requires six or more cards.
This BetOnline variation differs from regular blackjack in a number of ways.
All active bets push when the dealer reaches 16, with the exception of player totals of 21, which win. There are no choices for insurance or surrender. With the exception of aces, players may wager on up to three hands per round and re-split once. Players can only stand or double up after splitting aces.
The strategic placement of bets is the main focus of the game's mechanics instead of the card-counting advantages that are present at some blackjack casino sites.
