We are a team of seven blackjack players who got tired of guessing which online blackjack sites would actually take our action, pay us out and give us a fair game. So we turned that frustration into a full-time job. Since 2010, LegalOnlineBlackjack.com has done one thing: help players figure out exactly which legal online blackjack sites accept people in their state, and which ones to avoid.
Who We Are
We are based in Panama City, Florida, and every single person on staff is a real gambler. Not a marketing writer who read a strategy article once, but people who actually sit down at the tables, count their own bankrolls and lose real money on bad beats like everyone else. That matters, because you cannot fake knowing what a fast payout feels like or how frustrating a rigged-feeling shoe is. We have been on both ends of it.

What We Do
The legal online blackjack landscape in the United States changes constantly. A site that is live and licensed in one state might be completely off-limits two states over, and the laws move faster than most players can track. Our job is to keep up with all of it so you do not have to. We monitor state-by-state legislation, watch which operators launch and pull out of which markets, and keep our recommendations current as things shift.
More importantly, we do not recommend a single site we have not personally tested. Every operator we promote gets put through the wringer with real accounts, real deposits, real gameplay and real withdrawals. If we tell you a site pays fast, it is because one of us waited on that payout ourselves. If we tell you its live dealer blackjack is worth playing, it is because we played it. The Team
Seven People, One Shared Obsession
Here is who is behind the reviews.
Brad runs the editorial ship. He is from Biloxi and grew up playing blackjack in the Gulf Coast casinos, so the game has been part of his life for well over a decade of serious play. Before joining us, he built and ran several online gambling websites of his own, which means he knows this industry from the operator side as well as the player side. Nothing goes live on the site without passing through Brad first.
Jarred works remotely from New Jersey, and that location is a big part of why he is so valuable. Because New Jersey has one of the most mature legal online gambling markets in the country, Jarred can legally access and test nearly every regulated blackjack site out there. He brings 10 years of experience in the sports business and has personally played at and tested more than 50 online blackjack sites.
Henry handles our state-by-state legal content, and he is built for it. He holds a paralegal degree and is a genuinely sharp researcher, which is exactly what you want in someone parsing gambling statutes for accuracy. Henry has played blackjack for more than 10 years and has been with us since 2020. He is especially into blackjack tournaments.
Terry grew up right here in Panama City and plays poker and blackjack every week, often every day. He spent five years in the online gambling industry, including two years at DraftKings working in the online casino department handling customer support. That support background gives him a rare perspective on what it looks like when an operator treats players well.
Lorcan is based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and runs his own blackjack strategy website on the side. He handles all of our strategy sections and pages, which means if you are reading anything on this site about basic strategy, deviations, bankroll management or how to actually play a hand correctly, that is Lorcan’s work. He is the person we trust to get the math right.
Every crew has one, and Tony is ours. He is the self-described degenerate gambler of the group, and blackjack is his game. Tony has played for more than 15 years and is fully convinced he is a pro, despite a lifetime losing record that says otherwise. We keep him around because nobody grinds more hands or has more war stories, and his losing record is a great reminder of exactly why we preach playing for entertainment and never chasing losses.
Frank is our newest voice in online gambling and brings a computer science degree to the table. He loves blackjack but is still relatively new to it, and that is actually useful. Frank asks the questions a newer player would ask, which keeps the rest of us from writing over the heads of the people we are trying to help. His technical background also makes him sharp on how site software and mobile apps actually perform.

Our experience runs on both sides of the table. Brad has built and operated online gambling sites himself, so he knows how operators think and where they cut corners.
